Westend Synagogue

Westend-Synagoge, Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße 30, 60323 Frankfurt am Main

Built in 1910, the neo-classical domed synagogue in Frankfurt’s West End seems almost oriental in its style.

Beschreibung

Badly damaged by the National Socialists in 1938 and again during the air raids of 1944, it was rebuilt true to the original and reopened by the new Jewish community in 1950.
