Waldspirale Darmstadt

"It's a home for nature and the dreams of the people, an example of the increase of the nature in the city.", the Viennese artist, ecologist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000) referring to the Waldspirale. The imaginative residential complex with 105 individual apartments was realized by the Darmstadt Building Association. In 2000, the unusual building was completed. The grounds are accessible at all times.
