Marshall-Brunnen (Marshall Fountain)

In memory of the American Secretary of State, George C. Marshall (1888 - 1959), initiator  of much humanitarian aid after World War II  located at the Taunusanlage since 1963. Three bronze water nymphs serve to represent the maidens of Goethe´s classic novel, " Faust" .
