This street is one of the few places in Germany where you can still find authentic 18th century buildings that have not been destroyed in WWII.

While the part of the street that leads to the main station is now famous for its erotic shops and for its nightlife, the other end of Kaiser Street, i.e. the one leading to the city center, still reflects the wealth and glory of epochs long forgotten. It is in this part of Kaiser street that you can still find expensive jewelry shops and boutiques.
