Description

After World War 2, American forces established a helipad on the site, which had already been used as a field airfield. About 40 years later, the occupying forces vacated the field. In 1992, the city of Frankfurt acquired the entire site.

Under the direction of the GrünGürtel project group, this special place was further developed.
