The "world unifiers" (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) from the Max Clouth Clan are now Ragawerk. They play with anthemic melodies, film-musical sounds and rousing rhythms. Western and Indian influences merge into a characteristic sound, sophisticated structures are combined with expressive improvisations. On their travels through Germany and India, Ragawerk have already played at jazz festivals in Brandenburg, Frankfurt and Delhi and have been guests at the Goethe Institutes in Chennai, Trivandrum and Hyderabad.
