Event details
During his debut as Rinaldo at Oper Frankfurt in the fall of 2017, he was still considered an insider tip. In the meantime, Jakub Józef Orliński has become one of the most sought-after representatives of his vocal field. In the fall of 2021, he sang for the first time at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Previously, concerts took him to the Aix-en-Provence Festival, the Dortmund Concert Hall and the Palace of Versailles. In Frankfurt in 2018/19, the young singer from Poland was celebrated not only again as Rinaldo, but also as Unulfo in the Handel opera Rodelinda. He also interpreted baroque arias and songs by contemporary Polish composers in a song recital shortly thereafter. With Anima sacra and Facce d'amore he has already released two solo CDs. The fact that the countertenor is now giving a recital in the renowned series of song recitals at the Frankfurt Opera for the second time in just a few years is both a gift and a sign of friendly solidarity.
