Description
The zoological garden - founded by the count of Limburg-Weilburg - offers the opportunity for visitors to watch native animals in a natural surrounding: bears, wolves, moose, wisents and aurochs, red deer, bears, Capricorns, mufflons and many more. At the restaurant "Im Tiergarten" you can let the day end by drinking some coffee and eating a piece of cake. Also, a half-timbered house shows how farmer families lived in the past.
Tours for groups by arrangement.
