Der ADFC bewertet und zeichnet Destinationen mit mehreren regionalen Qualitätsrouten als ADFC-RadReiseRegionen aus. Die Regionen bieten neben einem nachweislich hervorragenden Routenangebot auch verschiedene fahrradfreundliche Serviceangebote. Im Unterschied zu den ADFC-Qualitätsradrouten wird bei den ADFC-RadReiseRegionen nicht ein Radfernweg ausgezeichnet, sondern eine ganze Region mit mindestens zehn regionalen Routen. Neben der Bewertung streckenbezogener Kriterien werden alle wichtigen Aspekte eines radtouristischen Angebots entlang der Servicekette geprüft.
