The Sprudelhof Bad Nauheim

Six of the seven bathhouses at the "Sprudelhof" are well-preserved. Built in 1900, the complex is considered the biggest coherent Art Nouveau ensemble in Europe. The new style, also called Jugendstil or Modern Style caused a sensation. Curved and floral contours, lush decorations and colorful ornaments heralded a new zeitgeist. The architecture, the sidings, windows, the furniture, the lamps, everything down to the smallest details is designed in Art Nouveau style.
