Rhine Riverfront

The Rhine promenade in Mainz stretches from the customs port along the old town to the winter harbor. The Rhine and its banks are a meeting place, an oasis of calm, a picnic area and well frequented at any time of day. Here you can simply look out over the water and enjoy a wonderful moment of silence together, or talk to each other into the night over a glass of wine.

Barrier-free access is available along the entire banks of the Rhine. In addition, several parking garages such as the Parkhaus Rheinufer or Rathausparkhaus are located in the immediate vicinity.
