Over 1.400 animals live at the Opel zoo such as African elephants, giraffes, zebras, gnus, hippos, brown hyenas, meerkats, red pandas and many more. Kids especially enjoy the petting zoo with a hatchery or horseback and camel riding. Besides watching the animals there are also adventure playgrounds with a climbing forest, slides and other playing equipment like experience-paths.
