Nature Reserve Kühkopf

On the Kühkopf near Stockstadt there are the educational Institute for Environment "Schatzinsel Kühkopf" and the former custodian house of "Hofgut Guntershausen". Both house interesting exhibitions.

Beschreibung

The Nature Reserve "Kühkopf-Knoblochsaue" offers more than 60 kilometers of hiking trails. There are around 24 square kilometres, where nature and landscape can be experienced, especially the unspoiled meadow landscape by the river. The "Kühkopf" with the Environmental Education Center (UBZ) and its exhibitions is also one of the entrance gates to the Geo-Natural Preserve Bergstraße-Odenwald. In neighbouring buildings of the friends' association "Hofgut Guntershausen" there are additional exhibitions on history, art and culture of the region.
