Fritz Rémond Theater im Zoo,
Bernhard-Grzimek-Allee 1, 60316Frankfurt am Main
The only theater in the world in a zoological garden seduces to think and to amuse.
Founded in 1947 as the "Kleines Theater im Zoo" (Little Theater at the Zoo), it is now impossible to imagine Frankfurt's cultural landscape without a renowned private theater with a rich tradition. Director Prof. Claus Helmer has set himself the task of presenting both classical and contemporary plays to audiences in a sophisticated and entertaining way with excellent actors and directors. Thus, the repertoire offers light and serious, sublime and light as well as encounters with the big names of the film and theater world. The building, which was built in the classicist style, combines the enjoyment of art with a stylish ambience in the midst of beautiful parkland. Here you can still see true stage art!
