The Women's Department of the City of Frankfurt, together with the Historical Museum Frankfurt and a number of cooperation partners, presents 48 revolutionary women in the Emperor's Hall (Kaisersaal). Portraits, quotations and symbols of historically significant revolutionaries are displayed on long lengths of fabric.
Transcending generations and national borders, these revolutionary women are prominently presented in the Emperor's Hall. Among them are eight women from Frankfurt, such as Clotilde Koch-Gontard and Henriette Zobel. They were united by their rebellion against social inequalities.
