The encounter of different musical worlds is the trademark of the Music Discovery Project, which fills the Jahrhunderthalle once a year and has been delighting audiences time and again for 15 years. The upcoming edition entitled "LichtBlicke" will be enriched by the Frankfurt singer Namika.
Symphonic as well as chamber music sound colors determine this time the program around the hr-Sinfonieorchester. Namika already took off with her 2015 debut "Nador" and achieved gold status with the album. The number 1 single "Lieblingsmensch" went gold several times in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Invitations to the Bundesvision Song Contest, the New Music Award and multiple "Echo" nominations followed. Namika's third album "Wie geht's dir?" has just been released. The songs were written over the past three years during the pandemic, which was a challenging time not only for the Frankfurt native. Her songs now encounter works by classical composers such as Johannes Brahms, Sergei Prokofiev and Claude Debussy in the Music Discovery Project, which will captivate audiences with their expressive, atmospheric music.
