Scenic staging and interpretation
The entire new Old Town becomes a stage for 1.5 hours. The different stagings take place in different places. As at the opening, now almost 3 years ago, musicians announce a new start. Visitors are asked to keep a distance of 2 meters and wear masks.
Sustainable shopping and enjoyment
Away from the chain stores, the new Old Town is a small oasis and invites you to linger. Artisans and merchants offer unique items, the gastronomy Frankfurt and national specialties. "There is a lot to discover here for every budget" says Özlem Ortells from the community of interest of the traders.
Not only is the new Old Town built sustainably, but the merchants and artisans also offer sustainable products. Fine porcelain, ornate jewelry, stuffed animals and classic Bembel and much more can be found in the new Altstadt.
