The Europe Festival presents a colourful musical and artistic programme. It starts at 3 p.m. with the European anthem interpreted by the Udo Salamon Trio (jazz) and the opening by City Councillor Eileen O'Sullivan and a special guest. The results of the European House Parliaments (Pulse of Europe) will also be presented. MainSlam will then take over the stage with a poetry slam show on "Peace and Democracy" (from 4.30 pm), followed by the BodyLAB: Red Rose - Antagon theatreAKTion. The finale will be traditional Irish music by Enbarr's Flight with Donna Harkin as special guest.
