The intention of the artistic director of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, Jacopo Godani, in this project is not to visualize music with movement, but to view music and dance as equal and at the same time interdependent entities and to present the entire spectrum of this relationship with its infinite connections choreographically.
Musical reference points are provided by compositions by Giacinto Scelsi, Ferruccio Busoni, Arvo Pärt, John Tavener, Steve Reich, Johannes S. Sistermanns and Wolfgang Liebhart, which are realized by the hr-Sinfonieorchester under the direction of Lucas Vis in the stimulating setting of the Bockenheimer Depot.
