under the artistic direction of Dreikönigskantor ANDREAS KÖHS.
The audience can look forward to the performance of well-known Christmas melodies by Johannes Eccard, Erhard Bodenschatz, Michael Praetorius, Max Reger and Carl Thiel as well as motets from the pen of Heinrich Schütz, Georg Friedrich Händel, Felix Mendelssohn and Edvard Grieg, among others.
In addition, Epiphany Cantor Andreas Köhs will perform festive organ music by Johann Sebastian Bach on the large Schuke organ.
The Kurt Thomas Chamber Choir
has been presenting itself to the Frankfurt concert public for more than 25 years with much acclaimed choral concerts under the direction of Dreikönigskantor Andreas Köhs. Even under the more difficult conditions of choral concertizing in the current pandemic situation, the choir could be heard in 2020 and 2021 in special concert formats in compliance with the distance requirements with the performance of a cappella music of several stylistic epochs in the Dreikönigskirche.
