Indie songs and free improvisation, polyrhythms and nouvelle vague, free jazz and electro loops, classical vocal scraps and hip hop grooves... With bartmes, seemingly contradictory things complement each other to form a multi-layered living organism that attempts to musically mirror the complexity of our time. Consequently, it doesn't fit into any pigeonhole, but nevertheless never comes across as arbitrary, instead very varied and highly individual. Long live diversity!
