An AFRICAN MARKET offers handicrafts, fabrics, clothes, furniture, musical instruments, CDs and DVDs, toys and much more. You can also get your hair styled in an African way. At FOOD and DRINKS there are spicy smelling delicacies of the African and Caribbean cuisine as well as
wines from South Africa and Caribbean cocktails.
For CHILDREN
there will be a bouncy castle and a soccer arena for boys and girls from different cultures to play together; also a movement program with dance and an artistic face painting project.
In the main program there will be LIVE MUSIC with great bands and a West African VOODOO CEREMONY. And there is a TENT DISCO with super DJs, especially for YOUNG PEOPLE.
There will also be a BOOK READING followed by a DISCUSSION on issues of integration and living together.
And there will be again information booths of AFRICAN ASSOCIATIONS, where interested visitors can inform themselves about their development projects in Africa and their activities in the Rhine-Main-Area and in Germany and then also get involved in their projects.
