Frankfurt worth seeing

Forest Playground Goethe Tower

The playground was situated beneath the 43-metre-tall Goethe Tower, which in turn was known to be Germany's tallest wooden observation platform and burnt down on October 12, 2017.

The tower was erected in 1931 by the forestry office and offered a magnificent view of Frankfurt´s "green belt" and the city skyline.

The park's playground, featuring a variety of apparatuses and an extra-long slide, provides plenty of fun for youngsters of all ages.

A paddling pool offers welcome relief from the summer heat. Toilets are available and there's a kiosk in the restaurant.
